China calls for Strait to be reopened 'as soon as possible' in Iran talks

China has called for the closure of the Strait of Hormous, a vital connection between the two countries involved in the Iran war and the reopening of the strait. The country has been a major buyer of Iranian oil, which is also sanctioned by the US. The meeting took place a week before US president Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping are set to meet for a summit.
