New York restaurants and bars are removing "Philly" cheesesteaks from their menus during the Knicks-Sixers basketball game. Restaurants across the state are rebranding Philly cheesesteak as "the Philly SUCKS cheesestak," "the Big Apple cheesesteaking," and other cheeky names. Louis Cretella, the co-owner of Dario's Pizza in West Hempstead, changed the menu item from "philly" to "phphadelphia". Other restaurants were also changing their menu names to "the New York Knicks steak" and "the Philadelphia SUCKERS" in response to The Post's inquiries. The move comes as 76er fans are trying to block Knicks fans from attending road games at the arena.
