Commuters, businesses bracing for northbound Highway 280 closure Monday morning

Highway 280 northbound will be closed at 5 a.m. Monday morning due to construction on the northbound section of the road between I-94 in St. Paul and 35W in Roseville, Minnesota. The project involves replacing original infrastructure, maintaining the bridges and pipes built in the 1960s, and repairing the pavement. The closure is expected to significantly impact on roadside freight and trucking companies. The goal is to complete the project before the Minnesota State Fair in August.
