His brother-in-law, Misbah al-Huda Bagheri Kani, and Mohammad Shirazi, chief of the military bureau, were decapitated. The attack also hit multiple residences within the compound, killing senior officials, including IRGC chief Mohammad Pakpour and Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh. President Donald Trump has stated that it is unclear whether Mojtabe Khamenei is still alive after reportedly being injured in an airstrike.
