The first day of spring is celebrated in Evansville, Indiana, with events to explain what the Spring Equinox is and how it impacts the earth. Participants were taught about the equinox from Native American mythology, astronomy, space craft and yoga. A NASA ambassador also addressed the event. The night ended with a sunset sunset.
