Colorado weather: Denver braces for deep-freezing temperatures, snow

The National Weather Service (NWS) has warned of a potential deep freeze in Denver, with temperatures expected to plummet to between 18 and 25 degrees. The NWS also warned that early-season vegetation, fruit trees, and above-ground sprinkler systems could be damaged. Additionally, travel disruptions are expected.
