The National Weather Service predicts that a fast-moving front approaching the region from the eastern Pacific Ocean will push widespread showers across the metro area, with a 10-15% chance of thunderstorms, which may briefly be heavy. The high temp will be around 54 degrees, with winds potentially increasing to 25 mph at times. Showers are expected throughout the day, potentially leading to a 1-4 inch of snowfall over the Cascades. However, as of the evening, it will be more sporadic, with low temperatures expected to fall into the 30s.
