The Lake County Prosecutor's Office has declined to comment on charges for the juvenile driver in a Lake Station river death, stating that due to the minor involvement in the case, Indiana law restricts the release of information to protect the privacy and rights of the juvenile involved. The body of missing 18-year-old Rodrigo "Rico" Montes was recovered by divers from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. One suspect is in custody and charges are pending. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday and toxicology results are expected in two to four weeks.
