The expansion of Uber's space at 3 World Trade Center, announced this week, brings the company's total of nearly 500,000 square feet on 11 floors. The deal brings the 2.5 million square-foot skyscraper to 89% leased. The expansion is also good for the local economy, with over 2,000 employees now living in the city. The cost of the expansion has not been disclosed.
