TikTok’s Taste Buds are eating the world and conquering the internet, without leaving New York City

Dillon Davis and Nichols Neff, two friends from New York City, have been making social media content called Taste Buds, a series of videos featuring food from around the world. The pair used a virtual wheel to select a country at random and recorded their first spin on Armenia, where they sampled seven dishes including tabbouli salad and spinach pie. The videos were posted on TikTok under the name Taste Bud and have since been popular with over 400,000 viewers. Davis and Neff have since moved to separate apartments but have kept sampling world's cuisines and posting new videos each week. The series is praised for its rough production quality and cultural relatability.
