The Summer Constitution Camp in Pocatello, Idaho, is being run by volunteers from the Reconnect Southeast Idaho organization and over 60 volunteers to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The camp is set to take place from June 15-19 and includes hands-on learning opportunities such as feeding chickens and making bread and root beer. This year's event will be held on the Friday of the camp, with a performance at Calvary Chapel on June 19 showcasing the history knowledge campers learned throughout the week. Over 60 volunteers participate in the event, some of whom are teachers and actors, some dressed as historical heroes like George Washington. There are currently just under 30 spots remaining for 100 campers.
