He also highlighted the importance of Türkiye's close cooperation with Iraq and emphasized Turkmen as a significant part of the brotherhood between the two countries. This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump congratulated al-zaidi on his social media platform, Truth Social, and invited him to visit Washington once he has successfully formed a government. The move signals that Washington has given its blessing to al-Zeidi, a businessman and political newcomer who is chairman of Al-Janoob Islamic Bank.
