Strong winds have caused significant damage to sheds, trees, bikes, gardening supplies, and more in Westmoreland County, including Frank Kingerski and his wife. The couple awoke to find their sheds, several trees, and several other items completely destroyed. The National Weather Service determined that the damage was caused by 60 to 70 mile per hour straight-line winds, not a tornado. Kingersky said the winds caused several thousand dollars in damage but did not harm their home.
