UCF is preparing to reset its quarterback room after a difficult two-year period where injuries and poor performances led to eight different players taking snaps over 24 games. Last season, UCF returned to the field with transfers in Tayven Jackson, Cam Fancher and Davi Belfort, and Jacurri Brown. The team had two healthy quarterbacks available for the season finale at No. 11 BYU. In the offseason, UCFA signed former James Madison quarterback Alonza Barnett III, who was named Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year last season. Frost believes the team has a strong quarterback unit and is looking to add more experienced and talented players to their ranks.
