The biological parents of a baby at the center of an embryo mix-up have been identified, according to attorneys for Tiffany Score and Steven Mills, who had undergone in vitro fertilization at the Fertility Center of Orlando, Florida. The couple had sued the clinic after learning their newborn, Shea, was not genetically related to them and they sought genetic testing. This month, an attorney representing Score and Mills revealed that DNA testing revealed that their baby is 100% South Asian. The identity of the biological parents will remain confidential. There are still questions over what happened to the embryos believed to belong to Score and Millis, though there is no indication that they resulted in a child being born to another couple.
