The Walsh family in Mount Washington, Washington, held their sixth blood drive to support leukemia patients after their son, 11-year-old Seth Walsh, recovered from leukemia eight years after his treatment. The blood donations can also help patients stay alive until they find a cure. The American Red Cross estimates that one unit of blood can potentially save up to three lives.
