Japanese company, Balmuda, has released a travel-friendly alarm clock, The Clock, which uses lights and sounds to help people sleep, focus, and wake up. The Clock is designed by Balmada founder Gen. Mathew Terao who wanted an alternative to playing rain sounds on a bright, distracting tablet. It features a Relax Time mode, a focus mode, and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for connecting to a mobile app. However, its battery life is estimated to max out at 24 hours of continuous usage.
