Australia and the European Union have signed a new agreement allowing 98 percent of the current value of Australia's exports entering the EU to be duty-free. The deal comes amid a visit by EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to Australia. The agreement means that 98% of all exports sent to the 27 member countries, a market of around 450 million people, will not be subject to import duties.
