The Russian military has launched a series of air attacks on Ukraine, targeting hundreds of drones and missiles on Good Friday, marking 1,500 days since Moscow began the war. Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that this was Russia's response to his offer of a ceasefire over Easter, despite churches in Ukraine marking Easter next week. The attacks, carried out in broad daylight, caused power cuts in the Ukrainian capital and other areas. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that the Russian military deployed over 500 drones and 37 missiles overnight and during the day, most of which were intercepted in time.
