A 13-year-old boy is suspected of opening fire outside Sepulveda Middle School in North Hills, California, causing a serious injury to a 17-year old boy. The shooting occurred just after 3 p.m. on the way to pick up a younger sibling. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where his condition was not publicly disclosed. Police have identified the suspected shooter as the boy. It is unclear whether the suspect has any connections to gangs. The lockdown was lifted at around 5 p.
