Apple TV exec leaving to start his own international production company

Morgan Wandell, a former Apple TV executive, is leaving the company in favor of launching his own production company, Kismet. While at Apple, Wandell developed and oversaw production of several popular series including "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters," "Tehran," "Disclaimer," "Masters of the Air," and "The New Look." While technically leaving his executive role behind, he is currently in talks with Apple to stay on as a producer on some of his existing projects. KISMet will develop and produce premium scripted series for the global marketplace, focusing on high-end culturally rooted storytelling. Wandell previously worked as Head of International Series and Head of Drama Series at Amazon Studios.
