The US government has revoked green cards for three more Iranian immigrants with alleged ties to the Iranian regime, Seyed Eissa Hashemi, Maryam Tahmasebi and their son, pending removal from the country. This follows the arrest of two relatives of slain Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani. The State Department stated that these individuals were granted visas to enter the U.S. in 2014 and were granted lawful permanent resident (LPR) status by the Obama Administration in June 2016. This comes as U. and Iranian officials are in talks to negotiate a longer-term agreement to end hostilities between the two countries.
