Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment issues air quality health advisory across eastern Colorado for wildfire smoke

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPE) has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for nearly 20 counties in eastern Colorado due to out-of-state wildfire smoke. The advisory covers areas including Larimer, Weld, Morgan, Logan, Yuma, and Pueblo. The National Weather Service reported that smoke from large wildfires in Nebraska moved into northeast Colorado, impacting the air quality. CDPE advised people to remain indoors or limit outdoor activities if smoke became thick or dangerous.
