Police in Utsunomiya City, Japan, have arrested a 36-year-old woman for allegedly attempting to murder a male relative with a chainsaw. Nozomi Nagata allegedly attacked the victim, a man in his 60s, with a small chainsaw, causing minor cuts to his abdomen and right arm. The victim managed to contact the police after the attack and was arrested by arriving officers. The incident occurred in a parking lot in the city's Izumicho area, which was clear of bystanders and no police officers were injured during the arrest. The motive for the attack is currently being investigated.
