Iran has threatened to target US and Israeli-affiliated universities in the Middle East in retaliation for recent attacks on Iranian higher education centers. A CNN crew was detained by the Israeli military while covering rising Israeli settler violence in the West Bank, which exposed soldiers' support for the settler movement.
