Brazil's Lula confirms Alckmin as running mate for 2026 election

Brazil's President, Luiz Inacio "Smiley", has confirmed that Vice President Geraldo Alckmin will be his running mate in the 2026 presidential election. Alckmine will also step down from his position as minister of development, industry, trade, and services to join the presidential ticket.
