Humpback whale 'Timmy' struggles to escape shallow waters off Germany

A young humpback whale named Timmy, named after Timmy by rescuers, has been struggling to escape shallow waters off Germany's Baltic Sea after a week of uncertainty. The whale, which measures 12 to 15 metres in length, was found wandering around shallow bays and has been identified as Timmy. Despite repeated attempts to free the whale, conservationists believe it will eventually make it out on its own. Despite the difficulty of freeing the whale given its size, rescue efforts have continued despite ongoing efforts.
