On April 15, 1984, Welsh comedian Tommy Cooper died during his performance on the TV variety show Live from Her Majesty's Theatre in London. Despite initially believing it to be a joke, Cooper fell to the floor and fell backward into a curtain behind him. The audience laughed hysterically until the show ended. Despite attempts to revive him, due to Cooper's size and his back, they were unable to move him. He was transported to a hospital and later died of a massive heart attack. The incident has been widely viewed online, but the video of the incident is available for purchase.
