Amazon must negotiate with Staten Island warehouse workers, NLRB says

The National Association of Human Rights Board (N.E. has ruled that Amazon.com plans to cut its global corporate workforce by up to 14,000 roles and purchase Licensing Rights. The ruling means that Amazon is required to meet with representatives from the Amazon Labor Union, which has been seeking to negotiate with the company over pay, working conditions, and other matters. The union was initially formed in 2022 and has since aligned with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. However, Amazon has disagreed with the ruling, suggesting they plan to appeal.
