Epsom marathon man to continue epilepsy funding for late sister

Barry Ahearn, a man who ran 27 marathons in memory of his late sister, has announced plans to double his efforts in 2027. He raised £23,000 for Epilepsy Action in honour of his sister, who was in cardiac arrest for 27 minutes during a seizure before passing away in 2023. Additionally, he plans to continue raising epilepsy awareness with the help of Epsom and Ewell MP Helen Maguire.
