The Canadian government has issued an apology for seven of its main ships, which are undergoing overhaul and off-the-field operations, and stated it is at a significant risk of not being in service for the start of the summer timetable. The disruption has resulted in sailings being cancelled until Sunday. The company also revealed that two new, highly anticipated, high-priced ferries delivered late and over-budget will not be able to dock at a publicly-owned harbour until at least 2029.
