A group of fathers from Moss Haven Elementary School in Texas raised nearly $7,000 to buy a new car for beloved crossing guard, Trecia Crawford, after her car broke down in October. The Dallas-area school's dads club raised the funds in less than a week, with Marcus Waither and Adam Tharp leading the fundraising effort. The club's members, who aim to improve students and teachers' environments, also purchased a white Jeep at a significant discount and promised free oil changes. The remaining funds were used to cover Crawford's car insurance. This isn't the first time the club has supported Crawford; in May 2023, her car was totaled in an accident.
