BC Woman Gets 5-Year Sentence for Smuggling 108 Kilos of Meth From US

A B.C. television and radio host, Sukhvendra Kaurhendhend, has been sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison for smuggling 108 kilograms of methamphetamine into the country. She pleaded guilty to unlawful importation in 2024 after being arrested in October 2021 by the Canada Border Services Agency.
