Lyons Township High Keeps Industrial Development As Possibility

The Lyons Township High School has released its marketing plan for a 74-acre property, the same one its broker, Mohall Commercial and Urban Development, presented to the school board two weeks ago. However, Willow Springs, Ohio, zoning rules prohibit industrial development in the area. The school's board president, Tim Albores, previously stated he would not support a land sale to an industrial bidder and stood by this stance, breaking with his allies, Kari Dillon and Jill Beda Daniels, who were part of the board that secretly pursued industrial development secretly in closed sessions that were later found to be illegal. The new marketing plan includes a part labeled "atheathe," which includes a circle for "National Industrial/Logistics Developers" and names of five industrial developers.
