Intel's CPU supply is improving, but demand is still exceeding supply, according to Intel executives. The company is also planning for PC demand to fall due to component shortages, which are driving prices higher. In January, Intel reported shortages of both PC and server processors and announced it would be prioritizing silicon for higher-margin server products. However, these shortages remain, with Intel executives stating that they are ramping up output throughout the year. They also noted that near-term demand is strong for Panther Lake and Wildcat Lake processors, but the AI pendulum is beginning to shift towards CPUs as control of agentic AI becomes crucial. Intel reported $13.6 billion in revenue, with a net loss of $3.7 billion on $5.3 billion of charges.
