The Hawaii State Department of Health (DOH) has issued a brown water advisory for the entire islands of Oahu and Maui, following two back-to-back "kona low" storms that hit the islands in March. Oahu has been under an advisory since March 20 and Mauic since March 16. The DOH also issued an islandwide brown water warning for Kaui on March 31, but has issued another for Nāwiliwili.
