California wildlife expert shares black bear safety tips

The California Department of Public Affairs is urging residents to stay safe as animals begin to emerge from hibernations and are looking for food. Black bear expert, Ryan Leahy, shared safety tips and encouraged people to report a potential encounter with the animals. He also encouraged people not to leave their trash out on a curb overnight.
