The New York City Football Club is set to spend $48 million in 2026 on the replacement of 2023-24 starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers and 2025 starting quarterback Justin Fields. The team has $104 million in total dead money this year, the highest in the league. The cost of Rodgers' two-year contract is spread over two years, and the cost of Fields' transfer to the Chiefs is $8 million. The Jets are expected to have more than $150 million in 2020.
