Wichita officer fatally shoots wanted man during arrest, police say

The Wichita Police Department's SWAT team and the U.S. Marshals Service were attempting to arrest a 45-year-old man with a warrant for eight counts of sexual exploitation of a child. The man allegedly brandished a handgun and was hit multiple times by one officer, prompting no officers to be injured. The shooting is now under investigation by the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office.
