Elon Musk and Sam Altman are embroiled in a legal dispute over a $500 billion AI data center deal, Stargate, in a joint venture with tech giant OpenAI. The deal was announced by President Donald Trump, who also expressed animosity towards Altman. Musk, the boss of Tesla and Space X, called Altman a "swindler" and a "liar" on his social media platform, X. Altman had previously worked with Musk on his way to becoming the richest man in the world. The lawsuit against OpenAI alleges that Musk put $38 million in seed money and recruited top talent for the project, which he alleges was influenced by Altman’s political leanings.
