Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah will not play in the Premier League match against Brighton & Hove Albion or Egypt's friendly match with Spain, according to manager Arne Slot. Salah, who has scored four goals and provided four assists in his last nine appearances for Liverpool, was due to travel to Barcelona for Egypt's match against Spain. The match was originally scheduled to take place in Qatar. Liverpool currently sits two points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa in their title defence.
