WHO meeting on progress of schistosomiasis and soil-transmitted helminthiasis global control towards the NTD road map targets and post-2030 strategies

A meeting will discuss the progress of the treatment of schistosomiasis and soil-transmitted helminthiasis (STH) in more than half of the countries in the WHO African region and Eastern Mediterranean regions, aimed at sustaining the progress achieved. The meeting will also address the need for a comprehensive review of the impact of control interventions and recommendations to address bottlenecks and accelerate progress. The goal is to identify global priority actions and make recommendations for the future of the disease.
