Chase Elliott wins at Texas, his 2nd '26 Cup Series victory

Chase Elliott won the 26th-year Cup Series race at Texas, his second victory of the season and the 23rd of his career. Elliott led five times for a race-high 87 laps and joined Tyler Reddick as the only NASCAR Cup drivers this season with multiple wins. Despite starting 14th in the race, Elliott managed his No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet to stay ahead of Denny Hamlin for the final laps. Alex Bowman finished third and Chris Buescher came fifth. Carson Hocevar, the poleiser at Texas twice, finished seventh.
