A Louisiana man who pleaded guilty to raping and impregnating his 12-year-old relative is an illegal immigrant from Honduras, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Jose Lopez-Montoya, known as "Lake Charles man," faces up to 99 years in prison for the abuse. The Department of Immigration and Public Affairs is working together to prevent such an occurrence in American communities. The victim gave birth in 2025 and Lopez-Mathew's birth was confirmed as his child.
