A study by the University of Michigan has found concerning data about human activity affecting birds. The researchers analyzed over 150 studies to find out about the impact of human activity on birds. They found that birds reacted negatively to human-created noises, such as traffic, construction, military activities, and more. The study also found that developing animals, including embryos and nestlings, are particularly vulnerable to the negative impacts of noise pollution. Noise pollution can also affect other wildlife species and disrupt learning and attention in developing children. The best way to reduce noise pollution is to avoid disturbing wildlife during natural habitats or areas where wildlife roam.
