The event was held in support of Ellison as Paramount Skydance seeks regulatory approval for its $111 billion takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery. Weiss was joined at the table by First Lady Melania Trump and Paramount chief legal officer Makan Delrahim. The dinner was held ahead of the annual White House Correspondents’ Association dinner on Saturday, where both men are expected to attend.
