Guardians make roster moves to bolster pitching staff

The Cleveland Guardians have made several roster moves ahead of their series opener against Los Angeles, including the opening game of the series. Right-handed pitcher Colin Holderman has been sent to Triple-A Columbus, where he has posted an ERA of 6.00 and 42 strikeouts in 65 innings. To make up for the roster, left-handed player Doug Nikhazy has been designated for assignment.
