Lights out: Copper wires stolen from 60 lights on I-84 in Portland

The Oregon Department of Transportation has reported that copper wires were stolen from 60 lights on I-84 in Portland, Oregon. The repairs, which will cost around $200,000, are scheduled for next week. The replacement of the stolen copper wire will be made using aluminum, which is less valuable and more appealing to thieves.
