Illinois students invited to reflect on America's history

Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie is launching an essay contest for students in her 89th District. Students will be asked to choose from several prompts about America's history, including "Imagine the next 250 years?" and "What does it mean to be a part of America’s story?" Essays must be original, between 200 and 500 words, and include a completed release form signed by a parent or guardian. The winner will be announced in June.
