Trial date for Billups set for November on money laundering, wire fraud charges

The trial of Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups will begin on Nov. 2. The date was set during a hearing in Brooklyn. Prosecutors are expected to extend plea offers to 12 other defendants in the coming days. The NBA has placed Billups on indefinite leave during the case.
